Dell Technologies has refined its ESG goals to focus on nine key areas. By 2030, the company aims to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions across scopes 1, 2, and 3, reduce absolute scope 3 emissions from purchased goods and services by 45%, and ensure that 100% of its packaging is made from recycled or renewable materials. Additionally, Dell plans to improve the lives of 1 billion people through digital inclusion initiatives.
How is Dell addressing climate change?
Dell is actively working to address climate change by improving product energy efficiency and integrating sustainable materials into its offerings. In FY23, 59% of the electricity used across Dell's global facilities came from renewable sources. The company has also kept 39.2 million plastic bottles out of the ocean since 2019 and aims to source 75% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030.

Dell Technologies has made significant strides in digital inclusion, reaching over 288 million people since 2013.
